Method of image charges for describing deformation of bounded two-dimensional solids with circular inclusions

We present a method for predicting the linear response deformation of finite and semi-infinite 2D solid structures with circular holes inclusions by employing analogies image charges induction in electrostatics. Charges electrostatics induce near conductive boundaries an external electric field induces polarization (dipoles, quadrupoles, other multipoles) dielectric objects. Similarly, elasticity stress (quadrupoles inside inclusions. Stresses generated these induced elastic multipoles as well stresses their images then lead to interactions between images, which additional thus that expands series multipoles, systematically takes into account field, them, images. The results our straight curved show good agreement both element simulations experiments.
